For parents, the program offers a convenient method of providing a nutritionally balanced lunch. If a 5th grade child wants second helpings of the main menu item (when available) $.50 will be deducted from their lunch account. Students must have a positive balance in their lunch account to purchase seconds.
One carton of milk is included in a school lunch. Extra milk may be purchased. Kindergarten students have a milk-break during the school day. Water or 100% juice are acceptable at lunch, however any other beverages such as soda are not permitted.
