Afterschool Spanish

For students in grades K-5

The class is an introduction to Spanish language and culture. Students will learn common vocabulary, conversational skills as well as learning about the Spanish culture, i.e. holidays, foods, and Spanish speaking countries.

Benefits include exposure to Spanish language and culture which will help students understand and appreciate people from other countries. It will also give students a head start with learning a foreign language, which has proven to have numerous benefits including increasing critical thinking skills, creativity, and flexibility of the mind.

Extra-curricular Spanish is offered after school for students in grades K-5 two times a week throughout the school year.
