The primary use of the school facilities is for the educational instruction of the St. Pius X School, and Religious Education of St. Pius X Parish, and other school functions and activities. However, individuals and groups may rent the gym and conference room(s) for non-school sponsored functions if the event or activity does not interfere with a school or religious education function. All rentals are subject to approval by the school administrator.
Facilities are available for rental on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays from 6-9pm. Rental is available for a one hour minimum. Any rental over one hour will be pro-rated to the half hour. Facilities must be entirely vacated within 15 minutes of the end of the rental agreement time, or an additional half-hour rental fee will apply.

Process
An individual or group may request the use of a school facility by contacting the school office directly. Rental Applications that are returned by the first Monday of August of the upcoming school year will have priority over applications that are returned at a later date. Rental of the facility is offered at the full discretion of the school administrator. All required agreements and the certificate of insurance must be signed and on file, a security deposit paid and all rent paid in full prior to use of the facilities.
Steps in requesting the use of a school
- Read and agree to the RULES GOVERNING THE USE OF SCHOOL/FACILITY.
- Complete the application form and the Facility Usage Indemnity Agreement.
- Provide a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of $1 million, naming both “St. Pius X School and Archdiocese of Dubuque" as an additional insured on the policy.
- Payment of security deposit and rental fees must accompany the application.
