Dear St. Pius X Families, Teachers and Staff ~
The St. Pius X Parent Teacher Organization’s (PTO) primary purpose is to provide assistance and support to St. Pius X School and its mission.
The St. Pius X School mission is:
St. Pius X School strives to foster a Christian community atmosphere and to provide a quality education which instills a love of lifelong learning, growth in self-awareness and acceptance of the diversity of people, and to provide opportunities for service to God and neighbor.
We are truly blessed to have a rich history of support for our PTO. With the generous contributions of time, talent and treasure from our members, we are able to fulfill this purpose and other objectives by providing the following:
- Teacher support – direct assistance to teachers for classroom needs, curriculum needs for grade levels and specials and miscellaneous items such as printers, books and digital cameras.
- Support of the Board of Education Technology Plan
- Teacher and staff appreciation events and birthday presents
- Volunteer background checks
- 25+ events and programs including Open House, Parent coffee, School Carnival and various family events, including Moms and Muffins and Dads and Donuts
- More than 1,000 volunteer opportunities
- School directory to all PTO members
If you worked at the School Carnival, cleaned tables in the lunchroom, chaired a committee, brought food for events, volunteered in your child’s classroom, or just paid your PTO dues, THANK YOU! Without this support we would not be able to accomplish all that we have.
