St. Pius X Scrip Program
The Scrip program is a unique program to help families reduce rising tuition costs as well as providing extra funds to the school. By making everyday purchases such as groceries, gas, gifts, clothes and home improvement items, you can earn money for your tuition and also for the school.
Scrip is gift certificates or debit cards from stores that you shop at every day. The Scrip program buys these certificates from a national company and from local businesses at a discount and resells them at face value. You then use the certificates like cash for your purchases at these businesses. There are over 600 businesses in our program with discounts varying from 2%-33%.
After your SCRIP purchases have made a profit for the school in the amount of $125.00, then 65% of the profit from SCRIP goes back to you toward your tuition and the remaining 35% profit is retained by the school as third source income. You choose how the 65% is applied. Choices include tuition account for yourself or another family to be applied toward tuition at St. Pius X, Regis, or Xavier. You can also use your profits for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Preschool or Religious Education tuition. You don't have to be a member of the church, or have students that go to St. Pius X School to be able to buy. This is a great way for others, such as family, friends, and Grandparents, to help you out.
