SCRIP & Pius Pride Partnership
Panther Pride Scrip is excited to partner with Pius Pride, our school’s largest fundraising event, to give you a unique opportunity.
Here is how it will work. The Pius Pride committee has registered (think wedding registry) at Target, Barnes & Noble, Menard’s and Best Buy. The items on the registries will be used to create baskets for auctions at the “Welcome to the Jungle” event on February 17th, 2012. The registries can be viewed in-store or at the following websites:

The Barnes & Noble wish list can be viewed in-store at the Collins Road location.
This is where Scrip comes in. You will be able to purchase gift cards for each of these retailers at Scrip cash and carry. Then you can do one of two things;
• Use the gift cards to purchase items on the registries and donate them to Pius Pride for the auctions.
• Donate the gift cards directly to Pius Pride by purchasing them through Scrip cash and carry. For your convenience you can leave your gift card donation with the Scrip seller. They will put your gift card in an envelope with your name on it and it will be given to Pius Pride.
Registry items may be delivered to the school office. If you shop online, watch for free shipping offers and have the items delivered straight to the school! When you purchase a gift card to donate to Pius Pride, tell the Scrip volunteer that you would like to do so. The volunteer will place your card in the Pius Pride collection and place your name on the list of donors to be recognized at the event.
There is also a need for gift cards which are available only online. Michael’s ($25), HyVee ($25 and $50), Staples ($25), Office Max ($25) and Wal-Mart ($25) can be ordered through your regular Monday Scrip online order. Cards from these retailers will be used to purchase supplies for the February event.
What does all this mean for you? When you purchase gift cards through the Scrip program and then donate them to Pius Pride, you are donating not once but twice, to St Pius School. You save money on your tuition at the same time!
